This shawl has an unusual construction. First, the central square is worked in one piece from the center out. Then the Right and Left Wings are continued off the sides of the central square.
When working the central square, switch to circular needles when there are too many stitches for double pointed needles.
The Windmill Shawl is available as part of e-book Cotton Supreme Book 6: Stitch and Intrigue, and as an individual pattern through Craftsy and Ravelry.
