Welcome to our garden, where flowers bloom in a riot of colors and scents, and bees, birds and tiny animals happily make their homes during the warm, sunny days of summer.
To showcase this collection of thread crochet projects in our beautiful new cotton thread, Garden, we photographed the models and projects among summer leaves and blossoms in lovely natural light.
Garden is by Nazli Gelin, which means "shy bride" in Turkish. This new line of cotton thread is highlighted on page 31. We'd like to invite you to try Garden--we know you'll love both the look of the finished project and the feel of the thread as you crochet with it.
Thread crochet need not be intimidating. These projects are easy to stitch and comfortable to wear, with minimal shaping. You'll love wearing these tunics and toppers for everything from casual summer outings at the park to dressy dinners on the terrace. We've also included a pair of easy table mats, and a quick-stitch bookmark topped with the beloved thread-crochet pineapple motif.
So get your favorite hooks and an iced beverage. Get comfy on the chaise lounge in the shade and start crocheting your favorite project from this book. You'll be done before you know it and will have a great addition to you home or summer wardrobe!
